The ingredients needed to make Pineapple pachadi:
  1. Make ready few Pineapple slices
  2. Get 2 Red chillies
  3. Take 1 Green chilli
  4. Get As required Grated coconut
  5. Get 1 small Tamarind piece

Meanwhile, add all the ingredients for the coconut paste to a small mixer/grinder. Grind to a very smooth paste. Add just a tiny bit of water to assist in grinding till smooth. Pineapple Pachadi is a traditional Kerala side dish which is made with pineapple in a coconut yogurt based sauce.

Steps to make Pineapple pachadi:
  1. Cook pineapples with saltwater. Add tamarind extract.
  2. In a few minutes, grind just once on a mixer grinder.
  3. Grind coconut, red chilli and green chilli to paste. Add the paste to pineapples.
  4. Optionally add black grapes after bringing to boil. Also can add orange-red food coloring.
  5. Tadka with mustard seeds.
