After they splutter add the cut onion to it and stir it nice. To this add half TSP of haldi pdr, salt, sugar and sliced thin potatoes. Cover this kadai with a lid and add water to the lid. Otherwise, if you don't add water and simply cover the poha and onions will get burned.
  3. When you see the water on the cover has evaporated and steam coming out, open the cover and stir the poha nice. Squeeze half a lemon to the poha mixture.
  4. Remove from gas and garnish with coconut and coriander leaves.
